AL AQSA ITINERARY

Day 1:

Arrival at the hotel 

Welcome dinner and brief about the next day’s itinerary

Description:

5/6 days in Jerusalem staying at Hotels that are 10 mins walk to Masjid al-Aqsa. 

includes

Salah in Al Aqsa Masjid

Jummah salah (excluding Dec tour)

Extensive and valuable Islamic Classes 

Ziyaraah (tours).

 

Day 2:

– Fajr at Masjid Al-Aqsa

– A short tour of Al-Aqsa, explore the surrounding

– Breakfast at the hotel

– Guided tour of Aqsa and all the building in Al-Aqsa compound with a Scholar/Historian

– Before or after jummah/dhur salah at Al Aqsa

– Dinner after esha salah with a short talk

The bounty of the mi'raj, that is the salah connects us to Masjid Al Aqsa.

Day 3:

– Fajr at Masjid Al-Aqsa

– Big bus tour after breakfast

– Mount Mukabbir – Caliph Umar (ra) proclaimed Allah is great upon seeing masjid Al Aqsa for the 1st time

– Masjid Khalil – Tomb of Prophet Ibrahim (upon him be peace) and his family

– Maqam Yunus – Tomb of Prophet Yunus (upon him be peace)

– Jericho (if time allows)

– Maqam Musa – Tomb of Prophet Musa (upon him be peace)

– Mount Olives in Jerusalem – Ultimate view of Masjid Al Aqsa and the surrounding

– Salah at Al Aqsa if traffic allows followed by dinner and a recap of the da

ALSAMA TIPS:

When shopping in Jerusalem, support the local Palestinian business.

The Palestinians face many hardships. 

These restrictions prevent their ability to grow. Therefore any money you spend amongst the Palestinians can be a source of sadaqah (charity).

This is a great way to benefit their community and help them support their large families, without them feeling shy or embarrassed

  • Educate ourselves regarding Palestine and the challenges the Palestinians and Masjid al-Aqsa is facing.
  • It is very important that we educate the world about Masjid al-Aqsa.
  • Make sincere prayers for Masjid al-Aqsa and the Palestinians.

Day 4:

– After fajr guided tour of Bab ul Rahma (Gate Of Mercy) & Muslim cemetery

– Breakfast at the hotel

– 2nd part of a guided walking tour.

– Masjid Umar – Caliph Umar (ra) performed salah after the conquest of Jerusalem

– Church of the Holy Sepulchre – This is the holiest place for Christians in Jerusalem 

– Khanqah of Salahuddin Ayyubi. The place where the famous Muslim general Salahuddin Ayyubi stayed when he wanted seclusion 

and  carry out voluntary (nafl) worship

– Explore the Jewish/ Christian/ Muslim Quarters of the Old City

– Free time to explore Islamic museum in the Al Aqsa compound

– Salah at Al Aqsa followed by dinne

Be prepared for the warm Palestinian smiles and the sunshine.

Day 5:Final day

– After fajr brief summary of the entire trip

– Breakfast at the hotel

– Free time

– Will leave for the airport and pray at the airport

– if time allows we will visit Bab-e-Lud, it will be here that towards the end of times the Prophet Isa (upon him be peace) will destroy

   Dajjal (the anti-Christ)

The optional extra excursions can be arranged for subgroups at their own expense. This can be done on day 4 or 5

– Bethlehem. Biblical birthplace of Prophet Isa (upon him be peace)- Church of the Nativity

– Banksy’s Wall and Hotel

– Dead sea 

The weather in Jerusalem is warm, dry and sunny between April – November with temperatures averaging 25 degrees. Between December – March the average temperature is 15 degrees. December and January can be very cold so wrap up warm. The wettest month is January with an average of 90mm of rain.
